How to apply
How to apply
Start with applications, budget, and visa timing together so you can judge cost, timing, and post-study conversion potential in one clear sequence.
1
Start with Study Australia and university admissions pages together: compare course quality, tuition, city cost, work rights, and regional opportunity instead of prestige alone.
2
Shortlist universities by employer alignment as well as ranking. A slightly less famous program can still be the better move if it feeds directly into skill-shortage occupations or regional demand.
3
Check each institution’s international entry requirements, English scores, prerequisite subjects, intake periods, and document list before paying multiple application fees.
4
Budget beyond tuition: overseas student health cover, housing, living costs, and the cost difference between Sydney or Melbourne and other cities can materially change the plan.
5
Treat the Temporary Graduate visa as part of the initial school decision. The strongest study plan is usually the one that can later connect to subclass 189, 190, or 491 logic with less strain.
